Can I host multiple trips per year?
Yes. We encourage you to plan and lead as many trips as you want. Whether it’s one a year or one a month, it’s entirely up to you. The more trips you create, the more opportunities you’ll have to connect with your audience, offer memorable experiences, and scale your income.
Are the host’s costs covered?
Yes. At Creatrips, we want your experience as a host to be as enjoyable as possible, so we cover all costs associated with your participation in the trip. This includes accommodation, transfers, activities, optional activities, medical insurance, tickets to attractions, tour guides, and everything specified in the itinerary.
The expenses you’ll need to cover yourself are detailed in the “Excluded” section: international flights, personal expenses during the trip, and visa fees (if required). You can think of this as an investment, as you’ll recover this amount at the end of the trip when you receive your payment for “host services”.
Do I need to have visited a destination before hosting a trip there?
No, you can visit new destinations or return to the places you know and love —the choice is yours.
Do you organize trips outside of China?
For now, our focus is on China. We believe this country has so much to offer and never ceases to amaze: culture, history, cuisine, innovation, and much more. That’s why we want you to experience the best of China through unique and memorable experiences. In the future, we’ll be adding new destinations to bring the Creatrips experience to other equally amazing places.
How are trip payments and bookings handled?
We take care of all financial and logistical aspects. Payments and bookings are managed through our platform so you can focus on creating an amazing experience for your community.
How much money can I earn with Creatrips?
As a Host, you’ll receive 15% of the trip’s sale price, which means the more people join your adventure, the higher your earnings. Your income will also depend on the duration and style of the trip you offer to your community.
How far in advance do I need to plan the trip?
Ideally, you should start planning 6 to 8 months before the trip. This gives us enough time to organize every detail carefully, ensure availability, and secure the best prices.
That said, the timing may vary depending on the destination, season, and type of experience you want to offer. If you have a destination in mind, reach out to us and we’ll tell you the best time to get started!
What happens if my trip needs to be modified or canceled?
We’re here to help you with any necessary adjustments. If changes or unforeseen issues arise, we’ll work with you to find solutions and ensure your experience remains amazing for you and your community.
